South West Secure Data Environment

The South West Secure Data Environment (South West SDE) is an NHS-funded digital platform facilitating safe access to routinely collected NHS health and care data from across the South West of England. The SDE enables researchers to access and analyse de-identified research-ready novel and unique health and care datasets whilst maximising privacy and security.

Our datasets come from across the health and care spectrum and include primary care, secondary care, community services, mental health, social care, genomics, prescribing, emergency services, or the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.

With a population of over 5 million people, the South West SDE has the power to unlock the full potential of our regional data to enable new and groundbreaking research.

The South West SDE is a collaboration including the 91天堂色情片, the University of Bristol, and the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire NHS Integrated Care Board. As a truly regional collaboration, the South West SDE provides access to a depth and breadth of data, both in terms of geography and modality.
